In Honor of IPNC, Jackson Family Fine Wines have decided this would be the
perfect forum to unveil their world-class Willamette Valley Pinot Noir to the
Public. Some may know, Zena Crown currently supplies grapes to well-known
producers in the region, including Penner-Ash, Beaux Frères and Soter
Vineyards. Yet, the true introduction will be when you sip, sip more and savor a
vertical of our pinot noirs that embrace the perfect combination of landscape,
terroir, and winemaking practices. “Zena Crown has a brightness each year that
shows through even in a warm early vintage. I believe it’s from the effect of the
Van Duzer corridor where the ocean breeze is directed inland. The wines from
this vineyard will age remarkably well as a result of a higher natural acidity.”

Transportation will depart Bistro Maison in historic downtown McMinnville at
5:15 and move out to Zena Crown Vineyard, where winemaker, Shane Moore
and vineyard manager, Ken Kuperman, stresses the importance of estate
owned vineyards to the quality of the wines made here. Following, you will be
chartered back to Bistro Maison for an elaborate four course dinner prepared by
Chef/Owner Jean-Jacques Chatelard. His cuisine is renowned and highly
awarded for his soulful cooking rooted in French tradition. The menu is inspired
by the season and driven by the finest ingredients the Pacific Northwest offers.
