Walked in after trying another highly recommended place in McMinnville but without reservations it would be a 2 plus hour wait. We had heard there was a good French restaurant... read more in town and so thought this might be it. First impression was a scent of “old house” and no one else in the place (at least at the few tables we could see from the entrance) so a little concerned. The matra’d who reminded us of Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory seated us in one of of the back rooms where we did see other patrons as we walked through the restaurants. Our madra’d listed the specials with Sheldon Cooper style and precision. The menu was a bit daunting but our server was very helpful and accommodating and we started with their white truffle fondue. Apparently much of what they make is locally produced and we did enjoy the meal and the staff which seemed to work as a team in tending to us instead of a “not my table” sort of attitudes you see at some restaurants. So basically a really nice experience and I would go back the food was good some like the salmon according to my wife was the best she had ever had. But I’d say I enjoyed the service and overall vibe of the place despite the initial impression. And I do think this was the French restaurant people had recommended to us earlier.
